Our top banking client is seeking a Teradata Developer (Application Programmer) to join their office. This position will play an integral role in developing complex requirements, enhancing, modifying and maintaining applications in the Financial Crimes technology group. Job Title: Teradata Developer (Application Programmer) Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid Schedule) Pay Range: $68.26 / hr., W2 Contract Duration: 12 months Due to client rules, all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly; we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors. What's the Job? Design, code, test, debug and document programs as well as support activities for the maintaining the application Responsible for providing insight and direction from a data perspective, assessment of impact on technology systems and participation in the full development lifecycle of the capability being delivered Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements Setup and automate continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline Change Management, Maintenance, Platform Upgrades, and changes to requirements from both upstream and downstream interfacing applications What's Needed? We are looking for skilled full stack developer who has worked in Teradata along with middleware services; any Hadoop Development experience is a huge plus. This job is responsible for developing ,managing and scaling our data based application and process on Teradata. A big plus is a candidate who has experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools. Candidate should have strong understanding of data processing, data storage and data analysis using Teradata technology. Required:

• Excellent development skills with Teradata - BTECH scripting, SQL Scripting - database development experience
• Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, pyspark, Hive, and Impala are big plusses
• Working experience with Unix shell scripting
• Working Experience with any Graph DB
• Working experience with Autosys
• Experience with handling table huge data size which can go up to 30 to 30 TB
• Excellent in writing optimized SQL queries keeping in mind data size
• Well versed with performance improvement skills
• Excellent problem solving and evaluative skills
• Excellent attention to details
• Good understanding of testing concepts in agile development
• Good Understanding of Secure Coding Risk Management practices
