Flight attendant jobs are highly desired as they offer the unique opportunity to see the world while working. No special schooling or college degree is required; full training is provided by United. Travel Privileges: Fly around the world on United and bring your loved ones! Benefits: 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, Employee Assistance Plan, paid sick and vacation leave. Pay: Starting at $28.88/hour, with top pay at $67.11/hour. Pay increases with seniority and additional compensation for language skills, lead roles, and international trips. Training: 6.5 weeks of training in Houston, TX covering safety and customer service standards. Post-training, you will be assigned to one of our hubs (Chicago, Denver, Houston, LA, Newark, San Francisco, Washington Dulles, or other bases). Training includes a $140/week per diem, accommodations, and meals. Inflight Crew Skills: Prioritize safety, demonstrate a 'People-First' attitude, adapt to various customer scenarios, and represent United with pride. Flexibility to work globally, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential. Qualifications: Must be 21+, high school diploma or GED (college preferred), customer service experience, fluent English and Dutch, professional appearance, ability to operate electronic devices, valid passport, and ability to travel unrestricted globally. Must pass various assessments and background checks. Onboarding & Training: Complete evacuation drills, drug screens, background checks, and medical tests. Pass a 10-year background check, with restrictions regarding certain criminal charges. Benefits & Compensation: Competitive pay, travel privileges, inclusive uniform standards, safety and cleanliness focus, and a $1,000 bonus upon successful training completion.
