Job Title: Environmental Data AnalystJob Description
We are looking for a junior staff member to join our team as an Environmental Data Analyst/Technician. This individual will be responsible for organizing and managing environmental data for regulatory reporting, customer update letters, and due diligence reports for Project Management decision support. Additionally, this role involves assisting the Technical Services Division with laboratory coordination and management, preparing site maps/diagrams, and conducting field sampling and data collection events. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level individual to work for a reputable environmental consulting firm.
Responsibilities
Organize and manage environmental data for regulatory reporting, customer update letters, and due diligence reports.
Assist the Technical Services Division with laboratory coordination and management.
Prepare site maps and diagrams.
Conduct field sampling and data collection events.
Support Project Management decision-making processes.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, planning, or a related field.
Experience in data management and processing.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, ESRI ArcMap, and Microsoft Office products.
Strong written communication and data presentation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in soil sampling and groundwater investigations.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid opportunity with 2 days in the office or in the field, and the rest of the week working from home or on-site. The firm has been established since 1984, working with a consistent client base and maintaining a backlog of projects. This role offers the chance to gain experience working on a variety of projects, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Asbestos, Lead-Based Paint, and Mold Assessment and Abatement, Storage Tank Assessments and Closures, Construction and Demolition Site Work and Management, Regulatory Consulting and Contracting, and Non-hazardous and Hazardous Materials Transportation and Disposal. You will work directly with multiple Project Managers and Technical leads.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
