If you have an engineering mindset, know 3DS-Max (required) and/or Blender (preferred) then apply. For consideration please have a portfolio that demonstrates your skills (professional or personal projects) with regards to 3DS-Max and/or Blender.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the team to generate 2D CAD drawings (AutoCAD), 2D/3D Animations (3DS Max and/or Blender), engineering data layouts, and miscellaneous demonstratives as needed.
• Analyze project requirements, gather relevant data, and develop a workflow plan that best addresses the project.
• Review and analyze an array of various types of data which would include, but is not limited to, survey data, crash data, 3D models, pictures, and video, etc.

Position Information:

• Type: Full-time
• Pay: $70,000 - $100,000 (negotiable based on your experience).
• Work Location: Austin, TX 78733
• Position type: Hybrid (first 2-4 weeks in office, then mostly remote).

Training:

• Candidate will be fully trained in all aspects of the position, however candidate should already process some basic skill requirements/preferences listed below for consideration.

Skill requirements/preferences.

• 3D Software experience (3DS-max required and Blender experience preferred): 2 years
• Simulation: (Engineering and or visual effects type)
• Numeric Analytical Skills (excel, scripting, or programming).
• AutoCAD (We are willing to train for this if necessary).
• Valid drivers license with good driving record.

Education requirements

• Prefer an Associates or Bachelors in a field related to engineering, drafting, game design, analytics or equivalent work experience.

Ideal candidate attributes:

• Have effective analytical-skills, problem-solving skills, technical writing skill and verbal communication skills.
• Work efficiently either independently or as a team and perform well pursuant to time sensitive deadlines.
• Dependable and detail oriented.
• Ability to efficiently manage time amongst simultaneous projects, handle frequent context switches, and accurately document individual project work time.
