Responsibilities

Oversee and provide executive leadership to nursing organization. Responsible for the development of overall strategic nursing plans.

  • Collaborate with hospital leadership and medical staff to identify and develop new patient care programs, policies, procedures, and practice standards for the nursing departments.
  • Develop and implement a program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care provided by the organization.
  • Evaluate the function and structure of assigned areas to best determine the allocation and utilization of services and budgets appropriately according to strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to nursing services and healthcare.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Master's degree required.

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
