Job Description*
- Develop general arrangement and fabrication drawings for ASME vessels and production equipment packaging, adhering to customer specifications and Compress calculations, including BOM and related specifications.
- Create detailed P&ID, piping, isometric, and structural steel drawings based on project requirements, under the guidance of Engineers.
- Collaborate with CAD Administrator, Engineers, and Quality Control personnel to compile technical drawing packages.
- Generate, review, and update all necessary submittal documentation for technical document packages.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers, as well as vendors, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawings and submittal packages per design requirements.
- Maintain records and revision history, including the release and updates of all engineering documents, work instructions, and other related paper or electronic documents.
*Qualifications*
- Proficient in AutoCAD and drafting techniques.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with ASME codes and standards.
- Familiarity with mechanical design and 2D animation.
- Ability to create detailed schematics and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of additional software such as SolidWorks, Excel, and Outlook is a plus.
- Experience with Codeware Compress is required.
- Minimum of CAD Associate Degree or 2 years of experience in pressure vessel CAD design.
