What You'll Do

As an Industrial Athletic Trainer, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive wellness assessments and ergonomic risk analyses.
  • Develop and implement site-specific wellness initiatives and programs.
  • Design and implement ergonomic interventions using innovative and creative solutions.
  • Provide first-aid treatment and management for musculoskeletal complaints.
  • Conduct orthopedic injury assessments and participate in education and injury prevention.
  • Coordinate treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercise and work conditioning.
  • Perform data analysis and manage administrative tasks, including documentation and reporting.
  • Create a supportive environment that encourages workers to take responsibility for their health.
  • Communicate regularly with safety personnel regarding rehab and injury prevention activities.
  • Attend meetings and serve on committees as requested by the client.
  • Have the opportunity to author articles for newsletters and the company Intranet.
  • Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Board of Certification (BOC) certified.
  • State licensure/certification.
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
  • Willingness to travel to various client locations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of athletic training experience.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Recordability and worker’s compensation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous ergonomic/occupational health experience.
  • CEAS/OSHA10 certification.

Salaried ranges listed are for full-time (40-hour) employees. Additional pay such as incentives, overtime, and stipends may vary by location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, including job complexity, duties, and relevant experience. Base pay ranges are reviewed and updated annually.

Minimum Salary/Wage: USD $35.00/Hr.
